Reason # 213

There are soooo many reason why I love this blog. I am awful at printing pictures or doing anything crafty for the kids to remember everything we've done over the years. I really feel like with this blog that they will be able to look back and laugh at all the funny times and stories that we have shared as a family. I missed out on so many little things this month and can't recall them all to blog... We've had fun visiting Nanny and Pappy, being spoiled by Grandma Kathy, spent hours upon hours at the pool, decorated our yard with a sign for Chris for All-Stars (given to us by the swim team), made a trip to Franklin Park with the Hayes, went school shopping for Chris (Mommy cried and we still need to find ten black dry erase markers), Chris had a date with Nona and Papa to pick out a bookbag for school and of course he will be sporting a Pottery Barn Star Wars one, had tons of playdates and Addie now thinks she is the fourth Layne girl, met the neighbors- and Chris sent one to urgent care (not one of our finer moments), started summer speech classes for Chris, and the list goes on and on. A long time ago, pre-blog, I used to write letters to the kids... and this is just from one day- without the blog, look what all we miss.:)

3/25- Chris- hung out with Mage today and you were good at Gymboree even when two little girls kept telling you that you are five years old- You kept telling them that you were just three. You left a message on Nona's phone- "Noni, Noni, Nona- Why aren't you picking up Nona?.... Darnit!" Click. :) You're really getting good at your Scooby Doo game.

Addie- You are crawling everywhere- For the first time in about seven baths you didn't poop in the tub- It's a miracle! You devour all food- You're favorites are pineapple, oranges, and cheese. You weent with Nona to Nanny's chemo appointment and really brightened her day. You are starting to dance and you love sharing food with your mommy. Daddy also wants you to know that you like sleeping on your side.

These notes make me sad. The kids are growing up soooo fast before my very eyes! Can't they just stay babies forever? We love you so much Chris and Addie Tay!
