Take me out to the ball game...

This is when i-phones really suck... When you have an awesome day and you don't take out the camera until you get home... because you do everything on your i-phone... Don't worry- I have plans to remedy this when we're at the beach!

Brendan and I have been following the Nats pretty religiously this season... so when he found $5.75 tickets on stub hub, it was a go!  We- along with my parents, Todd, Sarah, and the kids spent a day at the ball park.  We metro'd in, got free t-shirts, spent $100 at the concession stand which cancelled out our savings on tickets, and even went on the day where we got to go down on the field and the kids got to run the bases... Yep... all documented on the i-phone. Ugh...

We had such a fun day... and hope to spend many more days at the ball park!

Fabulous Daddy Playdate

Lifestyles of the rich and famous... Ok, maybe not so much, but it sure is fun to pretend once and a while... Brendan gets the award for the coolest playdate of the summer- He took Addie and her friend to visit his plane and let them pretent they were famous... and pilots.:)  Such a good Daddy he is.:)

July Summer Camp!!!

Just like Chris did last year, Addie attended the McGruff Safety Camp this summer... I was so proud of her- She didn't no anyone going into camp and went in all by herself- I'm not even sure I would have done that- As it turns out, she happened to know a couple kids once she got there and made some new friends.  After the first day, she didn't want to go- She came home, fell fast asleep, woke up crying, and said the "boy with the curly hair got a really mean look on his face and punched her in the heart" and then complained of chest pains.  Since Addie NEVER complains and is never sick (she felt warm), this resulted in spending the afternoon getting checked out at urgent care (ummm, nothing was wrong- HA!)... and then Addie said she might have fibbed.  Yep, no curly haired mean looking boys in her class.  She went on to enjoy the rest of the week!

Chris also went to the DST baseball camp this week- which was his first ever all day camp.  He came home every day covered in dirt from head to toe and loved every second of it!  Summer is going by way too fast!

Happy 4th!

I know I constantly househunt and am obsesses with looking at new construction... but this is why I love my hood... We pull up chairs, sit out every night, and enjoy each other's company why the kids run and play... even on holidays.  Our neighbors are our family and we love it- there's no need to leave the 'hood.:)

Go Ahead...

Why not... Life is short, when ya gotta go, ya gotta go!

Why I Love the Lake...

Sometimes we don't realize how blessed we are to have a vacation place any time we want.:)

Pool Days

Yep, I'm way behind on the blog, but this summer has just been a blast... Easy, breezy... And hardly a day goes by that we're not with friends at a pool... Sometimes friends at their neighborhood pool, Algonkian Park, Steve Boyd's, and our 'hood pool all the time.

Here are some pics with our besties... It was a Papa John's Pool Special Day.:)

Girls on the the run!!

Run, baby, run!

Princess Addie

How every little girl falls asleep after a Pump It Up birthday party... With her brother's pajama bottoms on and with a crown.  Presh!

Vacation Bible School

The kids enjoyed a week of Vacation Bible School... and it was a hit!

Happy Birthday Addie

This OCD Mommy relinquished all control... and Nona would have had a fit if she saw Addie's Birthday party... Absolutely nothing went or flowed... Birthday was even spelled wrong-oops...
But, we had everything Addie wanted- Justin Bieber, a rainbow cake, her cousins and neighborhood friends, and a pool party!  Woo Hoo!
