Hail to the Redskins...

Go Skins!!! They are the best team in the world afterall... at least I hope they are this season! I gave it my best effort to convert Chris to become a Redskin fan, and at first I thought it worked...

But at the end of the day, he was still a Dallas fan. Boo! We had a great time going to Redskin training camp though- and Brendan even had a good attitude about it! The kids ran and ran and loved playing on the practice field. Chris knows no strangers and played in several football games with kids he had never met- He definitely didn't pick up my shy gene- He's a little Mike Pearson and will talk to anyone.

After the practice, we had a football and tried to get autographs. It was the last practice open to the camp.. and we were in the po' folk area. Almost all of the players exited by the "VIP" section. Most players didn't give the time of day and didn't sign autographs- but a few were awesome. I fell in love with this guy- as did most mom's that were there... He came up to where the po'folk were, set his pads downs and signed every single person's ball, hat, etc. One mom was so excited- he even took a picture with her son. I made sure to tell Chris that if he ever goes pro he better sign autographs ever day no matter how tired he is.:)

We all scream for ice cream...

Or chocolate covered bananas on a beautiful weekend afternoon. So sweet.:) I listened in on these two little girls planning their Christmas lists... and they both want not one, but two I-touches- so when they have each other over they don't have to share. Smart. And I told them we had to play outside... so I heard them whispering and they concocted a plan that they both had to "go to the bathroom" to get inside and then they would sneak to the playroom. They didn't know I "knew their plan" and I let them in. They thought they got away with it- Ha! We're going to be in trouble one day!!!

:)

I love the devil out of this little girl.:)

Oh Ramona

My sweet Addie Tay reminds me so much of Ramona from the movie Ramona and Beezus- even if you are an adult- I highly reccomend this movie- it's great! She is the sweetest thing- but she's just always a little off- she gets words wrong, is spunky, and doesn't have a care in the world! Poor thing is covered in scratches and cuts from being such a tomboy and playing with the older kids in the street. She is even starting to ride her bike all by herself without training wheels- she was the one that demanded the training wheels be taken off!!!

Speaking of Ramona- Bless her heart- this is what she looks like when she wakes up- Ha!

Meet Eleni Jae

I'm such a proud Aunt... Todd and Sarah welcomed their thrid addition, Eleni Jae, into the world this week. She is absolutely precious- perfect skin, round little head, and just so sweet. She's one of those little babies that you look at and just know it's a girl. I think she favors Mage- but don't say that because Jack gets jelly. I can't wait to spoil her with love, bell bottom pants that Todd and Sarah hate, and lots of hairbows.:)

Such a glowing mommy...

And a typical Dad... How are those wings Toddie Boy?

Congrats Pearsons!!! We love you so much!

Ashley and Crew Visit!!!

Rusty had business in D.C., so Ashley and the girls came up to visit for five days! We pretty much did a bunch of nothing- Ashley and I got our fix by going to a Matilda Jane kid's clothing show, we went to the Algonkian water park, ate out, spent a day at the pool, and vegged. It wasn't our finest parenting moments when we put the kids to bed with electronics- Ya know- piled them all in a bed with an I-Pad and said good night- ha, but we had a GREAT week. They are the type of friends you don't have to do anything for, have anything planned, and we can just hang... and be happy. So happy, that once again didn't break out the pictures!!! I have to get some from Ashley!

We heard that Taylor Swift was in concert, but neither of us had money to spend on tickets- Ya know, since we had just been to Matilda Jane- Ha! We jokingly asked Todd if he had any hook-ups (kind of knowing he's cool like that)... and he really did come through. More than one of his connections came through, so we actually ended up with 4 tickets and got to take Betsey and Rusty to the show. Taylor Swift is Betsey's favorite- and she was in heavan!!! Ashley and I took the section 111 tickets thinking they were so close (yes, they were awesome)... and when we went to check on Betsey and Rusty- they were on the club level in row A! That's what we get for trying to take the best ones! When we got to the concert, Todd took us off the metro at the wrong place- we were drenched! My white shirt was completely see-thru and we looked like drowned rats... but trust me, all we had was praise for Todd- and we owe him big time!!! It was an awesome night! And I'm now a bigger T.S. fan than ever- she sings so much better than I thought and she's soooo pretty in person!

Just another day in...

Playdate hell.... I mean paradise! I hate having playdates because it means spending hours cleaning- but sometimes they are so worth it. We've pretty much been spending our days between the pool and doing playdates. Playdates are so worth it when you catch your kids having so much fun and they literally make you laugh out loud.:) I love how these two play together!:)
