O.k... before you read the following posts, I will say... Don't Hate.

I HATE getting Christmas cards or reading blogs where everything is perfect and people don't have any "issues." I just want to say, "get real people"... or dream about having their lives.:) The following posts are about our vacay at Disney... and let me just say that there is no other way to describe it than perfect. The kids were at the perfect age, we had perfect weather, and it was just an amazing family get away. With that being said, I thought I'd keep it real so you know that eventhough it was "perfect"... it was about as perfect as it gets to me:)... but I'll also keep it real.

Let's see...

Eventhough the lines weren't bad, we seemed to hit the parks on busy days. I think I threatened Chris's life at least ten times- one time it involved a hair brush. Addie's fingers were accidentally smushed in the stroller by Daddy... They looked awful- and this resulted in a trip to the first aid center (not one of our finer moments):). Addie's feet hardly touched the ground- She had to be carried everywhere- and even wanted to sit in a high chair (this resulted in her not being charged for a fancy breakfast b/c I guess they thought she was under 3!) One night I got into a fight with Brendan over a Diet Coke and refused to talk to him during fireworks- Oops. I can admit now that I was being a snot.:)The geyser wasn't working at our hotel- Too bad there wasn't a sign that told us this and Chris and Brendan waited forever to see it go off! Ha! And lastly- it did rain for two hours one morning- I mean it poured! I spent precious money and bought rain parkas... only for it to clear up and be complete sunshine the rest of the day. Oh well, at least my parka kept me dry on the Animal Kingdon rapid ride.:)

Disney 2011: Day Six

We had a super late flight out on Thursday, so we were able to spend one last full day at the park. We chose to do Magic Kingdom one more time and we met up with Ash and fam for the last half of the day. It was bittersweet saying goodbye... We let the kids pick out a "prize"... and they both picked out stuffed animals- Chris fell in love with "Stitch" while we were at Disney eventhough we've never seen a show or a movie with him in it. It's so cute to see how young Chris really is because he always seems so much older. When we were on the plane, Brendan and I looked over and Chris was asleep- He had strapped the seatbelt around Stitch too. So sweet! We arrived home after one in the morning and just carried the kids to their beds. We woke up the next morning, and the first words out of Addie's mouth were, "Mommy, when can we go to Disney World again?" I couldn't have said it better myself- This vacation truly was magical.:)

Disney 2011: Day Five

We started out Day five at a character breakfast at the Grand Floridian. If you want to make Chris blush- just mention Alice in Wonderland- She totally flirted with him and he was sooo embarassed! We have TONS of pictures of animals at Animal Kingdom- Addie kept saying, "Daddy, take a picture of that one!". The kids LOVED this park... It closes earlier, so we headed back to the hotel and finished the night off swimming at the pool- which had a slide that the kids couldn't get enough of! I really wished I had taken more pictures on our trip- That is my biggest regret! We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge and we all loved the hotel!

Disney 2011: Day Four

We spent all day Tuesday at Epcot- my personal favorite park. We met up with the Sutterlin family again and had our favorite meal at Tepan Edo's- a Japanese restauraunt where they cook in front of you- I wish I could have recorded Chris's face- He was amazed and his facial expressions were priceless at times! Chris and Ellasyn hung out while Addie and Betsey were besties- For some reason, I didn't forsee that happening! Once again... sooooo much fun!

Disney 2011: Day Three

Day Three was our day of royalty. We hung out all day- literally riding every ride at Magic Kingdom! We also took the kids to the Bippity Bobbity Boutique where Addie was turned into a princess and Chris was turned into a knight and presented a sword and sheild. The kids LOVED it! For dinner, we were the "royal family" and got to eat in the castle- Chris and Addie couldn't believe Daddy had arranged this! Ha! It was so cute to see how much the kids "believed" all of it and got so excited about everything! The sweetest moment came when Sleeping Beauty left our table and Addie looked crushed, we said, "What's wrong Addie?" She looked up and said in the sweetest, saddest voice, "I forgot to tell her I love her." Awwww....

Disney 2011: Day Two

We decided to spend our second day doing Hollywood Studios... and our family was like walking celebrities. Brendan was chosen to be an actor in a show- He was mighty fine I must say.:) Chris was in heavan and got to go to Star Wars training and be in a show. And then Addie was chosen to be the princess in the Beauty and the Beast show. We were escorted up front to the princess priority seating- and then Addie had to practice walking on stage where the Prince was going to give her a rose... That's when she freaked out, wouldn't go on stage, and we had to give up our seats to let an understudy have the part! Ha! Oh well, you can't win them all! Brendan and Chris LOVED the Indiana Jones show, Addie and I loved the American Idol show, and yes, we did everything and even made Addie ride the Tower of Terror. We ended the night by eating at the Sci-Fi Theatre which was really fun... Just an amazing day!
