Tech Tailgatin'

We had 12 tickets and we represented Tech like the best of them... Eric, Mikey, and Eric's friends provided us with great entertainment for the night and showed us what it's like to be young... Too bad I don't have photos of them in action. For the record, Butch played flip cup. Despite Tech's ugly loss, we had such a fun night cheering for the best team in the world (eventhough they aren't playing like it!).

Big Daddy Mike showing how tailgating got it's name.:)

Happy 60th Big Daddy Mike!

Sorry for the long post... but it was a great night! When we were at the beach, Brendan had the idea to have a surprise party for my dad's 60th birthday for all that he does for us. My brother's and I actually planned a BBQ for our immediate family- We would have loved to have a ton more of you guys, but we were on a budget!!! My dad had no clue and this actually went off as a surprise!!! A good time was had by all...

To Da Lake

Gram and Pop Pop came to pick up the kids for a trip to the lake so Mommy could clean and host a Willow House Party. They had soooo much fun- and from the looks of it, they were quite spoiled! They woke up early to fish, visited parks, went to the creamery for ice cream, went shoe shopping, and hung out on the dock at the lake... Mommy missed them so much- but I know they had a great time!

Judy...

Reminder- Always check your shoes before leaving the house. HA! This is how she showed up at our house... LOL!

Fun Afternoons...

We're trying to settle in to a routine with the start of school and the weather has been great! The kids LOVE to spend the days outside and Addie's Barbie jeep is a hit with the kids... We've gotten to know some neighbors and are really enjoying it. Chris has started coach pitch t-ball and has practice during the week for an hour and a half... You read that right- and it usually goes a little longer!!! The kids love it though and Addie makes friends easily with the siblings of Chris's teammates, so it's been an easy way to kill the evening!!! This weekend Chris was 2 for 2 at his game... He fielded the ball one time and had an error with his throw. He covered his face and was embarassed- poor thing. But we're still just as proud of him as ever.:)

B-F-F's

Introducing the kid's official B-F-F's... The Layne Girls. I should have 100 pictures of them because we love to do playdates... and we had our first official sleepover. Molly and Addie- who are the "angels" of the families decided to stay up playing until 1am... and no matter how much of a mean voice I had, nothing worked to get them to bed! They had sooo much fun though! We ended the sleepover with a trip to Wegman's for donuts. Sorry for the lack of pictures- but we're usually to crazy for me to pull out the camera!!!

It's my potty and I'll cry if I want to...

Oh goodness- We're still having potty issues here at the McCullers household. Every time I write that Addie has pooped on the potty, it's a one shot deal. She's been in big girl undies for a year now and has never had an accident... She just won't poop on the potty- still! She holds it and asks for a diaper. We're all counting on her to go soon because we've promised her cone zone when she does!

Now, sweet boy Chris, has potty issues of his own. He is about to head to Kindergarten and still won't wipe his butt. I tried again and bought flushable wipes- Lightning McQueen at that... and today he finally did it! He wiped!!! Woo hoo! I was so proud- I checked, and he passed the test... And then...

He went running to Brendan and I heard this:

"Hey, Daddy!!!! (soooo excited) I wiped my own bottom. All by myself. And I know I did a good job and that it's clean... because Addie smelled it!"

LOL!
